The data is provided "as is" and without any express or implied
warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event
shall the IMGC, nor its members be liable for any direct, indirect,
incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including,
but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss
of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and
on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or
tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the
use of this data, even if advised of the possibility of such
damage.
Confidentiality
With the exception of information already available in the public
domain, all parties agree that all information and trade secrets
communicated to one party in any manner in connection with the IMGC are
classified as "Confidential" information. Any verbal or written
release of reports, datasets and other information to the IMGC is
solely at the discretion of the institution/company/organization and
faculty/staff. The institution/company/organization and
faculty/staff assume any and all liability arising from the release of
such materials.
Public Access
Datasets, literature, tools, and other materials obtained through
the public databases and/or government agencies will be freely
available and in the public domain of the portal in order to encourage
others to join the IMGC.
Disclaimer
The IMGC provides these data in good faith, but makes no warranty,
express or implied, nor assumes any legal liability or responsibility
for any purpose for which the data are used.
Intellectual Properties
The IMGC will not own or manage any new intellectual properties that
might arise from the knowledge and findings that are developed and/or
discovered through the workings of the Consortium's programs. The
intellectual property of any party must not be disclosed to any third
party without the prior approval of the party owning the intellectual
property.
Disclosure
If a party is required by law to disclose any Confidential
Information, that party shall immediately inform the other parties in a
manner and at a time reasonably sufficient for the other parties to
take whatever action they consider necessary to protect their rights
regarding Confidential Information.
Privacy Notice
We collect no personal information about you without your knowledge
when you visit this site, although you may choose to provide this
information to us in specific instances. However, we collect and
store certain information automatically. We use the summary
statistics to help us make our site more useful to visitors, such as
assessing what information is of most and least interest to visitors,
and for other purposes such as determining the site's technical design
specifications and identifying system performance or problem
areas. This information is not shared with anyone beyond
the administrators for this Portal, and is used only as a source of
anonymous statistical information.
