Bryan White - University of Illinois

Bryan A. White is a Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences and the Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois. He earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the Medical College of Virginia, and was a NIH Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Michigan, before joining the University of Illinois in 1985. His research focuses on the microbial ecology of the gastrointestinal tract of vertebrates using microbial genomics and metagenomics.
