Chris Linington - University of Glasgow
Chris Linington is an immunologist whose research focuses on understanding how the environment, immune and nervous systems interact to cause multiple sclerosis. He has worked extensively on the role of autoantibodies in MS and identified several autoantigens, including the milk protein Btn1a1 that are involved in its pathogenesis. He was awarded the Sobek Research Prize in 2003, and has recently moved to the University of Glasgow.
