Gonca Pasin - International Milk Genomics Consortium (Moderator)
Gonca Pasin is the President of Pasin Group an international business-consulting group performing mainly proprietary, custom consulting for clients with specific needs requiring intensive research integrated with strategic analysis. She conducts technology and market assessments; economic evaluations of dairy R&D investments including ex-ante using benefit-cost analysis; strategic business plans; and is involved in international strategic alliances. She has a B.S. and R.D. in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics (Summa Cum Laude) and D.Sc. in Food Chemistry from the University of Hacettepe in Ankara, Turkey and received her Ph.D. in Food Technology from the University of Reading in Reading England.
Dr. Pasin has been previously affiliated as a senior scientific researcher in the National Institute for Dairy Research in Reading, England; as a professor in the Department of Food Engineering at the University of Hacettepe in Ankara, Turkey; and as a Fulbright Scholar and visiting professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of California at Davis. She currently serves as the strategic coordinator for International Milk Genomics Consortium, managed by California Dairy Research Foundation.
